About Us

The story starts with four friends from the Dolomites (North Italy) —Eli, Andi, Simon, and Andreas—who already knew each other for years but only accidentally became a band in the summer of 2021: a castle party, too much sun, too little tuning, and a first show that was more chaos than concert. Somehow it felt like victory. The next morning, while nursing headaches and searching for the instruments we found the words But Beautiful on a book-cover. It stuck.

Since then, we’ve been chasing sounds the way some people chase bad decisions—loud, messy, and full of strange joy. We like songs that can be both a hug and a kick in the shins. Sometimes it’s dreamy, sometimes it’s danceable, but most of the times its pure energy. We play with instruments the way kids play with fire: carefully, but not careful enough.

From writing to recording to shooting our own videos, we do it all ourselves, mostly because no one told us not to. Mistakes? We love them. Half the time we try to hide them, the other half it turns out, its the best part of the song. That’s the whole point. It's not perfect, But Beautiful.
